Kicking it live!
October 2nd, 2007

OK folks, here we go! After a long and much-anticipated wait (by myself at least) Soulcore is live once again! The illustration and wallpapers section are up and running with current content, and I'll have the interactive and comic sections up soonly!

This is the beta launch for what will be an "official" 2008 launch, but as I said further down having an unfinished piece showing to the public is the best motivation. I hope you guys enjoy the new site and stick around as I finish out all the content and galleries in preperation for 2008!

Excelsior!

Incoming!
October 1st, 2007

In between paying the bills and working on the new site I managed to get a couple of pieces finished over the weekend. The first of which is Magnus, who would later become Magneto, The Original Master Of MagnetismT!

I'm going to do a few more minor tweaks then kick the site live even though the interactive and comic galleries are yet to be completed. The illustration and wallpaper sections are up to date, and having them live and out there for the world to see will only motivate me to get the rest done that much faster.

Two out of Four Ain't Bad

The wallpapers section is up and running, go have a look-see and download your favorite! Two more galleries to go before my portfolio is up to date.

Back to the grind, kind of.

I'm back downtown now, doing freelance at my old stopping grounds. Driving downtown and hour lunch breaks make for long days, but I've managed to get the majority of the prints up in the portfolio and store sections. Next is to build out the rest of the portfolio then on to the final content blocks, with a hopeful completion date of mid-October.

I got a comic gig coming down the pipe as well, my first paid-up-front-for-my-services sequential art piece. Inks, colors and letters for a 24 page crime drama. So come December I'll be taking a break from interactive art direction and spend some time making funnybooks. It should be a blast!

Staying busy
September 13th 2007

Paying gigs and preparation for a long-term on-site freelancing stint have me struggling to put any time into the new site. But have no fear, it will come eventually.

In the meantime check out this little diddy I inked and colored for a friend pitching a comic gig, as well as the newly redesigned website I just finished for my good friend Teema Faith.

I've also been working on a game for local fan-favorite's the Dallas Cowboys. I'll post the art from it as soon as the game drops and I'm not breaching my confidentiality agreements.

Welcome Back

Well howdy. Looks like I'm well on my way to having soulcore.net 2008 up and running. All the pages and shell structure have been built out and tested to a T, now it's time to get down to business with content and an updated portfolio.

In the meantime check out the myspace, comicspace and deviantart links to get a head start on catching up with all the goings-on around here. And if you want to get really deep be sure and hit up the blog, yo!
