Accosted, assaulted, arrested and tazered for nothing more than asking loud questions.
So much for freedom of speech.

Bear with this, it really does go somewhere. Patience is a virtue.
And if don’t how modern Christianity is just another religion based on the oldest pagan sun worship, then definately watch at least the first 3rd.
Open your eyes, what better reward is there than truth?

Just read over on the Military Times forums that the entire Air Combat Command is to stand down on September 14th in order to review safety procedures in the wake of the recent incident involving 6 armed nuclear warheads that were flown cross-country while mounted to the wings of a B-52 bomber.
Anyone with an interest in deep politics or a working knowledge of nuclear safety protocols know that this is almost impossible to have happen by accident, given the large scale, redundancy and strict rules followed when handing nuclear material or weapons.
The last time the North American Air Defense stood down was on 9/11, and we all know what happened then.

That’s my mom’s new identification number. Her new code. Her new life.
My mom’s been really sick for a while now, stuck in a depressive cycle that she can’t see, can’t get out of, and won’t even recognize when it’s shown to her. It’s a stressful situation, especially in a family that’s had few problems up to this point. My parents have been married 32 years now. 32 years of raising a family and ups and downs and they’ve stuck it out.
My mother’s mother, “Nanny” as everyone called her, was the matriarch of the family. She was the glue that held our little tribe together. Her husband, my “Paw-Paw”, was severely injured in an 18-wheeler wreck when I was still a baby. He drove big rigs for Frito Lay, and after a million miles with one of the most stellar safety records ever, he took a curb too sharp or something, and was dragged under and ejected from the cab, in that order.

I seem to have fallen into a nice little ritual these first two months of working for myself. I usually get up around 8 and stumble to my computer and begin the day with my morning ritual of news, music art and random YouTube videos.
I’m usually working by 10:15 or so, and if I have needy clients they usually call about this time. I usually take a lunch and work at my computer, catching up on blogs and political message boards, then dive back into after I’m finished grubbing.
I work a few more hours and at about 3:45 every day I get really restless. I take advantage of this time to shower and shave, feed the cat, take out the trash, etc. I usually curse my lack of groceries or snack food at this point as well. If errands need be ran or checks need be deposited this is the last chance before Dallas’ insane rush hour traffic hits the freeways.
Once that adventure comes to an end it’s back to work, usually doing some sort of freelance web design, or if I’m really lucky, a bit of the ole drawrin’ even.
I wrap it up about 6 and retire to do other, important, non-computer related things. Dinner comes up quick then it’s a BBC documentary or the newest Netflix delivery. I’m a nerd, I know.
I usually end up coming back to the desk to either work on comic stuff or my own illustrations, I can’t ever seem to really shut the creative drive off, you simply sate it for a bit.
See, I can’t even come up with a nice succinct wrap-up for this blog post, because well, duty calls and I’d rather be creating!
Ciao!
